Hello,
Tuesday evening I sent out a note to Holladay Construction Group associates regarding COVID-19, and now only a few days later things have changed remarkably. Today, I am sending this note to let everyone know what our company is doing to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus.
While we wait and see where this is going, we all need to be aware of what is essential and non-essential as we continue to manage our projects and workload with health, safety, and the well-being of everyone in mind. As a result, we are implementing the following practices for our associates immediately, which effect our clients, customers and partners.
- If you are sick or are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, stay home and inform your supervisor immediately. This is especially critical for our site staff! We will figure out a way to supplement your project.
- All Holladay offices will be closed to the public. Should you need to contact us, please do so via phone or email.
- All non-essential business travel is suspended for the immediate future.
- Eliminate face to face meetings. Please use conference calls or online meetings as needed.
Construction is a different business than others, obviously, working from home is not an option for many of our team, but we can and will take precautionary measures to try and avoid as much human contact as possible. Practice social distancing when communicating, use your best judgment on the urgency of having site meetings. All our projects are unique and at different stages of urgency and we will do our best to keep them moving, while keeping everyone healthy.
Sincerely,
Scott Trueblood
President of Holladay Construction Group
