Holladay Construction Group worked with Holladay Properties on the redevelopment of an existing bank facility into a medical office building. The project involved transforming an existing, freestanding 4,701 square foot building on 1.79 acres located at 6200 Central Avenue in Portage, IN that was built in 1975. Holladay retrofit the existing building, which most recently served as a Chase Bank branch location, to fit the programming needs of a primary care practice by reconfiguring the interior space.

Holladay Construction Group served as the general contractor for a 11,700 square foot medical office building for La Porte Hospital's primary and urgent care clinic. The facility was developed by Holladay Properties at the 50 acre NewPorte Landing development located at the Pine Lane Avenue and Truesdell Avenue in La Porte, IN. The project broke ground in September 2019 and received a Certificate of Occupancy on May 6, 2020.

Northcreek MOB & Goodlettsville Pediatrics

Holladay Construction Group completed this 17,000 square foot medical office building as well as a 10,000 square foot tenant improvement build-out in August of 2017. HCG broke ground on the $1.5 million facility, located in the Northcreek Business Park in Goodlettsville, TN, in December 2016 and the first tenant, Goodlettsville Pediatrics, opened for business in August 2017.

In February 2012 Holladay Construction Group was named as the general contractor for NorthShore Health Centers Merrillville, IN facility. The project involved remodeling an existing interior tenant space, formerly home to a Hollywood Video, into new medical office space. The facility work included a nurse’s station, a medical x-ray and a lab room, sterile space, a spacious reception space and waiting room with a play area, dental offices, exam rooms, and office space, as well as façade improvements. The project began in February and was completed in June 2012. Holladay again worked with NorthShore for a 1,724 facility expansion in 2013, and another 3,054 square foot expansion in 2020.

Holladay Construction Group broke ground on the $6 million LifeWorks Medical Office Building for Holladay Properties and LaPorte Hospital in October 2010. The 38,000 square foot multi-tenant healthcare construction project included the shell building as well as several tenant improvements for a variety of medical practices, including cardiology, orthopedics, and occupational and physical therapy, which included an indoor, in-ground pool. HCG also completed interior improvements for imaging and lab space, as well as a pharmacy and café.

Holladay Construction Group joined Holladay Properties and Michiana Hematology Oncology in 2010 to develop, design, and build this 30,000 square foot facility located in Westville, Indiana, our second cancer care center for Michiana Hematology Oncology. The $6 million full-service cancer center offers every major oncology service, including chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The facility also features a full-service laboratory and advanced radiology services. The project featured an accelerated schedule with construction beginning in January and total project completion in October of 2010.

Holladay Construction Group collaborated with Holladay Properties and Michiana Hematology Oncology to develop, design and build this 50,000 square foot state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility in Mishawaka, IN. Utilizing ‘Safe by Design’ and sustainable elements, the new facility reflects the quality of care that is taking place in its exam rooms and corridors. The $12 million full-service cancer treatment center features two linear accelerators, CT scans, chemotherapy and radiation areas, a pharmacy and administrative offices. Planning for the facility began in Winter of 2008 while construction began in August 2009 and the facility opened in August 2010.

Holladay Construction Group completed the $1.8 million Concentra Urgent Care facility in November of 2009. The architectural design and collaborative process provided by HCG and Holladay Properties has allowed Concentra to use this 9,800 square foot project to define a standard for future facilities. The building features multiple restrooms, drug testing rooms, private offices, nurse’s stations, lab space, an x-ray room, and an area for physical therapy. HCG began working with Concentra on planning and design in February of 2009 and Concentra opened for business nine months later.

Holladay Construction Group completed the $7.1 million Vibra Hospital of Northwestern Indiana in 2008 at AmeriPlex at the Crossroads. The 33,000 square foot, 40-bed, state-of-the-art facility is a long-term acute care hospital that offers a wide array of services for patients who need extended acute hospital stays. The hospital serves patients diagnosed with neurological disorders, musculoskeletal impairments, multiple traumas, acute infection, wound management, end-stage renal disease, cardiac recovery, and many other disorders. The medical facility features a kitchen, x-ray and other medical equipment, and oxygen pad, emergency power generators, and bathrooms in all of the patient rooms.



I have been involved in several building projects and have never written a letter like this as those experiences were not nearly as positive. I can't say enough about the way your staff handled the Merrillville [design build clinic] project. Everything ran so smoothly - from beginning to end.

We selected Holladay for this project because it offered competitive prices, an aggressive schedule, and professional staff - and we were not disappointed! Your team provided constructive suggestions during the design phase, kept us informed at each step of the way, and finished well ahead of the 2nd bidder's promise dates. Following design review meetings the drawing changes were exactly as discussed, change orders were minor involving only owner requested items, and close out documents were thorough and well organized.

Most outstanding were the efforts of Scott Trueblood, Ryan Kelly, Joe Coar, and other support staff (Melody, Lydia, etc.). They were always pleasant, eager to please, and worked with can-do professional attitudes. Everyone directly involved at NorthShore clearly recognized each of their contributions.
