Mr. Trueblood joined Holladay Construction Group in 2006. Scott brings many years of industry experience to his role with the company. 

Scott began his career after graduating learning the industry in the field, working his way up through the ranks to attain the position he has today. With most of his experience in the design/build side of the business, he has learned the importance of building a project’s success by working closely with the customer, the design team, and the subcontractors from the very beginning of a project.  

Emphasizing that the best marketing for a contractor is a strong track record of satisfied customers, HCG has built a strong team. You take care of your employees; they will take care of the customer.

Billy Mattingly

Executive Vice President
Indianapolis, Indiana

Mr. Mattingly joined Holladay Construction Group in January 2018 as Operations Manager for the Indianapolis office and was appointed Executive Vice President in August 2019. He has 20 years of commercial construction experience across all market sectors.

Billy started working in construction in high school as a General Laborer then Labor Foreman for a small commercial general contractor.  After graduating from Purdue University’s CEM program, he progressed through all roles of commercial construction operations including Field Supervision, Project Management, and Executive Leadership.

Billy’s attention to detail, awareness, communication, and candor are his biggest strengths that ensure accountability of all team members for consistently successful results.

Scott Brown

Vice President
Clarendon Hills, Illinois

Mr. Brown joined Holladay Construction Group in 2017 to run our new office in Clarendon Hills, IL. He has over 21 years of construction experience and started his career as a carpenter in Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan with experience in residential and commercial construction.

Prior to joining Holladay, Scott spent over five years with Powers and Sons Construction as a Project Manager where he was responsible for contract negotiation, scope review, scheduling, billing processing, Q.C., processing submittals, community outreach for local hires, diversity workforce implementation, and much more.

Scott has a great work ethic and is committed to completing projects on time and at or under budget.

Clayton Trueblood

Vice President
Portage, Indiana

Mr. Trueblood joined Holladay Construction Group in 2016 and has 16 years of construction industry experience both in the field and in the office. Clayton also brings several years’ experience as a proven construction estimator.

Since joining Holladay Construction Group, Clayton has helped create construction estimates, budgets, and schedules. He also closely monitors the construction activities for many of Northwest Indiana’s construction projects.

Scott DeMartinis

Project Manager
South Bend, Indiana

Scott DeMartinis joined Holladay Construction Group in 2018 with 31years of experience in the construction industry. He came to Holladay from Tonn and Blank Construction, where he spent 12 years as a Project Superintendent.

Scott is very compassionate about every project from inception to completion. His ability to create strong lasting relationships between owners and subcontractors, provides a strong team approach to successful projects. The lengthy combination of field experience combined with his knowledge in project development, budgeting, quality, scheduling, and safety, play a key role in the overall success of a project.

Scott has completed a range of projects from small facility maintenance work, commercial buildings, retail renovations, medical, to large industrial buildings and multi-family construction. His experience in construction has contributed to meetings the client’s needs through design, value engineering, and scheduling, to deliver a quality project within budget.

Shannon Hyduk

Vice President of Finance
South Bend, Indiana

Mr. Hyduk began his career at Holladay Construction in June of 2005 as a Construction Accountant.  In 2010, he was promoted to Controller and to VP of Finance in 2017.

After graduating from Notre Dame, Shannon worked at the Sterling Group for 2 years as an accountant in the construction department.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages the entire Accounting portfolio for Holladay Construction Group.

Responsible for applying accounting principles and procedures while compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensuring appropriate accounting control procedures.

Provides continuous support of budget and forecast activities, analyzes and advises on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.

Oversees and analyzes all accounts within company’s general ledger, balance sheet, trial balance and income statement.

Accountable for daily cash flow, in charge of preparation of monthly draw/invoices to respective owners for all current jobs, collects and records all cash receipts, organizes and sets up all new jobs, maintains accounts payable, and assists in the annual review/audit of Holladay Construction Group’s financials. 

Jennifer Knox

Staff Accountant
South Bend, Indiana

Ms. Knox began her career at Holladay Construction in October of 2017 to expand the accounting department.

Jennifer was an Accounting Manager in the payroll industry and a Staff Accountant for a small manufacturer prior to joining the Holladay Construction team.

Bob Cundiff

Pre-Construction Manager
Indianapolis, Indiana

Mr. Cundiff, a Terre Haute native, graduated from Indiana State University in 1980 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Project Management and worked as a Project Manager with Earl C Rodgers & Associates, a local Design-Build Construction Contractor, for 17 years. There, he gained experience working with various clients from Institutional, Schools and Colleges to Industrial, Medical Practitioners and Hospitals to Residential and Commercial Offices and Restaurants as well as various Non-Profit Organizations and Churches.

In 1998, he went to Thompson Thrift, a regional Real-Estate Development and Construction Company, where he gained 10 years of experience in Pre-Construction and Development with large Multi-Family, National Retail, Light-Industrial and Commercial Development projects.

Before coming to work for Holladay Construction Group Indianapolis in June 2016, he was Project Manager for Sanders & Associates and MMS Architects & Engineers in Terre Haute and most recently for Concept Design Studio in Fishers Indiana.

Jordyn Nelson Fox

Pre-Construction and Business Development

Ms. Nelson Fox joined Holladay Construction Group in 2019 and has been instrumental in developing and streamlining processes and procedures within the Pre-Construction department. Jordyn is responsible for managing the Pre-Construction team efforts through the bid process from commencement to due date, including reviewing RFP documents, drawings, specifications, transmitting information to subcontractors and vendors, and documenting and processing RFI’s. Jordyn also assists with take offs, budget compilation, scope review, and final proposal submission.

Jordyn is responsible for taking projects from the Pre-Construction stage to Purchasing, where she reviews and assists in writing scopes for contracts. Jordyn has a strong attention to detail and collaborates well in a team environment.

Daan Witkamp

Assistant Project Manager Pre-Construction and Business Development

Peter D. Fromelius

Senior Project Manager

Mr. Fromelius joined Holladay Construction Group in 2017 and has over 34 years of experience in the construction industry. A Southern Indiana native, Pete comes to us with overall knowledge in industrial and commercial facilities, hospitality, restaurants, college and government projects, as well as site development and historic restoration/preservation.

Pete has been working in our Indianapolis, IN and Nashville, TN offices. He supports project safety, team environments, project coordination and communication to ensure the projects he is running are completed on time, within schedule and performed safely.

Mark Sinsko

Project Manager

Mr. Sinsko joined Holladay Construction Group in 2015 after seven years of construction industry experience. Since joining Holladay as a Project Engineer, Mark has moved into a Project Management position. An Indianapolis native and graduate of Indiana University; Mark had spent many years working for the City of Indianapolis and brings with him an extensive knowledge in permitting, building codes, and regulatory processes.

Mark’s strengths include collaborating well in a team environment, strong attention to detail, and an emphasis on building long lasting relationships in the industry. In addition, Mark has been able to work with the Pre-Construction Team to create processes that streamline and manage the regulatory and permit processes associated with construction. This enables our construction projects to begin on time and avoid costly oversights.

lydia amado

Lydia Amado

Senior Project Coordinator

Portage, Indiana

Ms. Amado joined Holladay Construction Group in July of 2007.

Lydia provides support to Project Managers, Field Personnel, and the Accounting Department.   She is responsible for maintaining files on active projects from bidding to close-outs including the setting up of plan rooms, generating owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and the processing of invoices and pay applications. Other responsibilities include maintaining GC Licenses, Permits and Insurance requirements.

Madilyn Mayernik

Preconstruction Administrator

Ms. Mayernik has been a part of Holladay Construction Group since 2020. She originally joined the Portage, IN office as an Intern while studying Construction at Purdue Northwest. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in 2022, she joined the team full-time as a Preconstruction Administrator.

Madilyn assists with preconstruction and Procore management.

Kristin Kromer

Project Coordinator

South Bend, Indiana

Kristin Kromer began her career at Holladay Construction in February of 2022 to fill the role of Project Coordinator in the South Bend office.

Kristin started her career in the construction industry at age 18 for a local union sheet metal contractor. Since then, she has filled project support and accounting roles with two large, reputable union contractors: Koontz Wagner Electrical Services and Ziolkowski Construction. Kristin has the knowledge and understands the importance the support system plays in the overall role of success to a construction organization. She brings to our team a jack of all trades skill set and attention to detail in construction administration.
