Project Description:

HCG built Walker Place, a three-story office building located in the heart of Keystone at the Crossing in Indianapolis, IN, for PK Partners. The project also involved a tenant build-out for Walker Information. The project features glass and masonry curtain walls, with an open air terrace at the third floor level. HCG broke ground on the facility in October 2016 and the first tenant, Walker Insurance, occupied the building in December 2017.

Project Description:

HCG programmed and design/built the new Superior Construction Co. headquarters in Portage. With a foot print of 16,300 SF, the facility houses 10,525 SF of office on the main level as well as shop and storage space in the basement. The 5.39-acre site was dressed with an attractive landscape mitigation to blend the site into the naturescape and required significant grading as well as a 24’ retaining wall. This facility was constructed utilizing precast panels and core fill insulation to reach the required mix of efficiency and comfort for the vast office operations. The interior space is equipped with high efficiency T5 fluorescent fixtures with all office, restroom, storage, break room, and basement fixtures outfitted with individual motion sensors, ensuring only the areas required for immediate needs are lit. The lighting control panels are network based, allowing the Owner to locally or remotely controls individual lighting circuits and operation hours. The main floor office space also features floor-to-ceiling glass walls in the executive offices and decorative sky lights to provide ample interior lighting throughout and the exposed ceiling features two-toned paint colors, providing architectural and visual stimulation.

Project Description:

HCG worked with the Troyer Group on the extensive renovation of the WNIT television station in South Bend. The 38,000 square foot project involved complete demolition and renovation, including facade reconstruction. The $3.7 million renovation involved removing existing and adding new window, plumbing relocation, installation of new roof-top units and skylights, and extensive electrical work for audio and visual components needed in the television industry, including adding a Jumbo Tron in the lobby. The exterior façade reconstruction involved adding new windows and updating the look of the existing building. During the construction process, HCG successfully navigated several issues that arose during the renovation of an older building, including roof concerns, asbestos removal, repairs from previous water damage, and value engineering for items such as acoustical walls and windows.

HCG worked with Holladay Properties and the Purdue Research Foundation to construct this 57,000 square foot business incubator facility in the Purdue Research Park at AmeriPlex-Indianapolis. The $8.1 million facility offers an environment with amenities unlike any other development in Indianapolis that helps cutting-edge, high-tech companies move forward with specially designed office and lab areas. The building features high-end finishes, custom metal architectural details, and was completed in seven months from bid to dedication.

In 2006, HCG completed this 21,000 square foot multi-tenant office building at the AmeriPlex at the

Crossroads Certified Technology Park in Merrillville, Indiana. The $2.6 million construction project involved complete construction of the shell building as well as tenant improvements. The facility features extensive exterior architectural details and ample lighting from abundant exterior windows and skylights from the curved entryway.
